Cardelús nace hace ya bastantes años cargado de inquietudes. Estudia Geología
en la Universidad de Barcelona donde entra en contacto con el mundo de la teledetección,
la prospección de gas y petróleo, y una cosa que llaman GIS. Comienza a
trabajar de informático mientras estudia un Master en Consultoría Ambiental
donde comienza a familiarizarse con la gestión de las Aguas y las Energías
alternativas. Posteriormente profundiza en el conocimiento de los Sistemas de
Información Geográficos y hace un Master específico para ello. De esos días le
queda el estar familiarizado con Smallworld de General Electric, con Geomedia
de Intergraph, con Microstation Geographics de Bentley y con la familia ArcGIS
de ESRI.
Ya trabajando en una empresa del sector del ciclo Integral del Agua focalizado en la aplicación e integración del GIS, sigue buscando respuestas y estudia la carrera de Informática para estar mejor preparado. Tras años desarrollando proyectos con GIS en el que le queda el poso de la innovación como única vía de mejora, llega la hora de dedicarse más a la gestión. En este punto, el estudio de un MBA le aporta un punto de vista diferente a la hora de ver como se une el mundo de la empresa y la tecnología . Finalmente, acaba trabajando en ESRI, referente en el mundo del GIS, totalmente orientado a promover el uso de la tecnología en las Utilities. ¿Alguien puede pedir más?
Con todo, le sigue quedando la inquietud y las ganas de comprender como funcionan las cosas y como pueden mejorarse. Para ello invito a todo el mundo a contactar conmigo para conseguirlo

Dani Cardelús born many years ago with a lot of interesting things in mind to explore. He studied geology at the University of Barcelona where it contacts with the world of remote sensing, oil and gas exploration, and a thing called GIS. He starts to work in a computer oriented position while studying a Master in Environmental Consultancy where he began to familiarize with the management of Water and Wastewater and Alternative Energies. In a later time, he studies a Master in Geographic Information Systems and get familiar with General Electric's Smallworld, Intergraph's Geomedia., Bentley's Microstation Geographics and ESRI's ArcGIS family.
Working in a company operating into Water Cycle business sector and focused on the implementation and integration of GIS, he's still looking for answers and he decided to study a degree in Computer Science to be better prepared. After years developing GIS projects thinking that innovation is the only way means of improvement, it's time to focus on management. At this point, the study of an MBA gives him a different point of view about the way that business and technology converges. Finally he ends up working at ESRI, the world leader in GIS, totally oriented to promoting the use of technology in the Utilities. Can anyone ask for more?
